The 13th International Conference of National Trusts was hosted by An Taisce, the National Trust for Ireland, from 14 to 17 September 2009.
The theme of the Conference Was ‘Heritage Care in a Changing Climate’. Papers were given by 21 nations, ranging from Albania to Zimbabwe.

Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and a UN Ambassador for Human Rights, addressed the plenary. Dame Fiona Reynolds DBE, Director-General of the National Trust (England, Wales and Northern Ireland) was also be a guest speaker at the plenary session.
